On the Rijnhaven in Rotterdam, Van Omme & de Groot are building a new apartment complex, The Bayhouse, and the adjacent MGallery hotel. Both new construction projects are known by their joint name, The View. For The View, mbX will produce 13,000 m² of glass-fibre reinforced facade elements.

FACADE ARNHEM CENTRAAL IS BEING REPLACED
After six years, the facade of the Arnhem train station will be replaced. During the official opening in 2015, the train station received the name ‘Arnhem Centraal’. The facade is being replaced with this new name. mbX will produce the replacement façade elements from high-strength concrete.

HPC FACADE ELEMENTS FOR NEW BUILD WUR
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) will have a new educational building. mbX will produce the High-Performance Concrete (HPC) facade elements for the third educational building, Aurora. The façade panels will be both placed on the exterior of the building as well as the atrium.

Work in progress! In collaboration with developer Lingotto, Team V architects and Arup have jointly designed the tallest hybrid timber building in the Netherlands. We have been contracted by J.P. van Eesteren to produce and install the facade elements in glass fibre reinforced concrete (GRC).
