The Sluisbuurt (Plot 6B2) project in Amsterdam comprises low-rise and two high-rise towers.In this complex, 525 studios for students are being realised with a unique facade themed ‘home’. mbX created this facade, incorporating illustrations by Stang Gubbels
as reliefs on thin facade panels.The low-rise is adorned with protruding column elements and recessed flat panels, each with a distinct colour. The elements in the low-rise are smooth, while the high-rises consist of a ‘red’ and a ‘yellow’ tower, both adorned with column elements and flat panels.
