An award-winning project!The public transport terminal in Arnhem, a unique building designed by architect Ben van Berkel (UNStudio), won both the Dutch Concrete Award in 2015 and the European Concrete Award in 2016. The innovative roof panels are double-curved prefab elements produced using a special concrete mix and flexible moulds. The reuse of moulds increased efficiency and reduced costs. None of the 1,500 elements are identical, together forming a unique and extraordinary vaulted roof.
