The façade panels of the New Cold project in Breda are ultra thin (30 mm) but impressively large (16 m²). mbX is responsible for the engineering, production and delivery of these panels, with part of the rear construction already assembled during the production process. This ensures the stiffening of the elements, facilitates stripping and saves considerable time on the construction site.
Because of the large dimensions of the elements, mbX designed and had approved a special lifting frame to enable the large panels to be stripped, tilted and transported. A nice development in the production process.
The design of the project, which is characterized by a clean, white geometric facade layout, was created by NBA Architects.
