The task for the new Lansingerland-Zoetermeer station was to create a ‘concrete jungle’A 190-metre-wide viaduct over the A12 highway connects all modes of transportation, from bicycles to trains, buses and cars. In addition to the facade elements, the architects created ample space for greenery. All required elements had to meet high architectural and aesthetic standards. All components are made from high-performance concrete with galvanised steel reinforcement.
